Cloakshape Fighter
1,000,000 |
The Cloakshape is one of the older starfighters commonly found across the galaxy. It's many customized forms serving with pirate gangs, militias and second-line planetary forces.
It is rugged and dependable, with a performance almost up to that of the Y-Wing, and on par with the Z-95 Headhunter Mk.II. It is usually armed with two laser cannons and 2 missile launchers. |

Planetary Fighter
1,000,000 |
The Planetary Fighter by SoroSuub is a large four engined design which although fast, is fairly unmanueverable and poorly armed. The fighter was designed for the planetary defence market, and has sold relatively well though never challenging the popularity of the Y-Wing or Z-95 Headhunter.
Planetary Fighters are often used by pirates and mercenaries as well as planetary governments, liking the fighter for its fast strike capabilities, usually upgrading the poor energy weapon capability of the fighter to more standard, and more damaging, Laser Cannons. The vessels designed role means that it has no Hyperdrive, which has led to some unique modifications, but more usually the fighters are based on some kind of carrier to carry it from star system to star system. |

T-wing
1,200,000 |
The T-wing is comparable to fighters such as the A-wing and TIE Interceptor. It is very fast and moderately armed, but lacks a strong hull or powerful shields. It is inexpensive and therefore a favorite of smugglers and pirates.
The T-wing was originally designed to replace the A-wing in its role as an interceptor. Unfortunately for the Rebellion, the end result turned out to be worse.
The T-wing can be summed up to be a poor man's A-wing. Like the A-wing, the T-wing is a very fragile fighter. With shields and hull similar to that of a Z-95 Headhunter's, this craft can not be expected to last long if it is hit by a single devastating blow. Ship's speed is just above that of a TIE Interceptor but slower than the A-wing. Maneuverability was another disappointment as it was slightly less than the afore mentioned A-wing.
Weapons are light with only dual laser cannons. However, the warhead load is equal to that of an X-wing making it a good multi-role fighter.
The Rebels only used this fighter for a short time on the frontline and eventually decided to sell it to neutrals hoping to gain a profit. The T-wing quickly proliferated across the galaxy ending up in the hands of many pirate factions and neutral powers. It proved very effective in the hands of the nomadic pirate leader Taarak.
This fighter was first roughly produced around the time the Magnetic Pulse Torpedo was invented. It continues to be used by nuetral factions. |

KSE Firespray
1,250,000 |
The Firespray class patrol and attack ship was designed by Kuat Systems Engineering for use by the Oovo IV Security Forces. Several prototypes were constructed, however all but one were destroyed when Jango Fett staged a prison break.
Jango kept the sole remaining Firespray , renaming it Slave I. Kuat Systems Engineering, suffering from the financial loss of the prototypes, mothballed the project, and concentrated instead on starship upgrades.
Many years later, K.S.E. found themselves on a more secure financial footing, and again desired to enter the starship market. To this end the company has re-introduced the Firespray class, hoping to build upon the reputation of the remaining prototype and its legendary pilot Boba Fett.
The new Firespray is, like the prototype, designated as a patrol and attack ship and perfectly suited for law enforcement and interdiction missions. With Kuat Systems Engineering keen to expand the market for the ship, they have started to promote how easily the ship can be customized and upgraded to fulfill a myriad of roles.
The stock ship is well armed and armored for its size, with on-board stowage space and room for several passengers and/or cargo. Roughly as fast as Koensayr's classic Y-wing fighter-bomber, the ship has more than enough speed and maneuverability to intercept smugglers, outlaws, or other renegades. |

Toscan Fighter
1,700,000 |
The Toscan 8-Q Fighter was one of several designs that led to the development of the Y-Wing. This twin-engined fighter is no longer in production and can only be purchased used, since no new ones are available. However, the Toscan Fighter remains popular with Pirates and other small military forces, particularly in lower tech regions of the Galaxy such as Wild Space and the Unknown Regions.
This fighter was one of the few production starfighters to be produced by Shobquix Yards. A large, heavy fighter armed with four laser cannons and two ion cannons. The Toscan emphasizes strength and fire-power over performance, it also has exceptional range and endurance, and has good long-range sensors. It is at a disadvantage in dogfights against most New Republic starfighters, but skilled pilots have learned to use its attributes to good effect.
Toscans are very effective in the attack/escort role. Toscans can escort heavy attack craft all the way to their targets, and add their own formidable firepower to the mix. |

Miy-til Fighter
2,000,000 |
This Hapan starfighter is a short, sleek craft measuring just over seven meters in length. The bat-shaped design has the cockpit and engines mounted between two forward-sweeping wings. The craft's small size means that the Hapan engineers had to miniaturize many of its components.
Each wing is tipped with an ion cannon, and a triple blaster cannon sits just beneath the cockpit. The Miy'til employs an R2 astromech droid to assist with in-flight operations and navigation. The Miy'til fighter is propelled by four Incom 6X4 fusial thrust engines, but its speed is relatively low compared to the A-Wing fighter. |

R-41 Starchaser
3,000,000 |
The R-41 is a multipurpose fighter, often found serving a variety of roles in both military and non-military organizations. This popularity is the result of wide availability and easy modification, in the tradition of CEC ships and the Z-95 Headhunter. Similar to the Z-95 Headhunter, but with slightly better performance.
Well armed with dual ion and laser cannons make this fighter a good multi-role craft. Advantages over the Z-95 Headhunter include the added ion cannon armament, 10 SBD advantage in shield strength, and increased countermeasures load. The R-41 is not normally equipped with a warhead launcher, although they can be installed increasing their firepower tremendously.
The R-41 was a favorite starfighter of the Rneeki Pirates and was the mainstay of their small fleet. The ion cannons served them well since the Rneeki could use them to capture ships, their primary means of aquiring their fleet. The Rneeki were known to lay Type-B ion cannon mine fields around hyperspace nav bouys hoping to disable ships for capture.
In any case, the R-41 Starchaser is a rugged fighter that will certainly continue to serve in many starfleets throughout the galaxy. |
