Delta Class Dx-9 Stormtrooper Transport

The Delta Class Dx-9 Stormtrooper Transport features very strong shielding, particularly in the forward section. It is designed to take over enemy ships. Using a universal docking mechanism, it can attach itself to most ships or it can bore its own hole in the hulls of most enemy vessels. This small two engine craft is heavily armed and is a dangerous threat to the enemies of the Empire. Although the craft is slow, it is surprisingly maneuverable.
Its hyperspace capability and its weapons makes this craft a versatile and potent weapon capable of surprise attacks and ambushes. When employed in combination with the Assault Gunboat, the Stormtrooper Transport is unmatched. The engines are located behind the proton torpedo launchers. These craft are also capable of mine laying. With its heavy weaponry, the Delta-class Transport serves as an effective gunboat, and has often made deadly torpedo runs against enemy capital ships. Unfortunately the Rebels also make use of the craft as they have capture them.
The DX-9 Transport has become the standard transport vehicle of the Imperial Navy for three reasons: It's inexpensive, modular and easily customized to a variety of missions, and it's one of the more robust vessels ever to see Imperial service. Tales abound of Troop Carrier variants returning to port literally open to space from holes blown through the hull, with engines shot off, or even partially destroyed cockpit areas. Stormtroopers are fiercely fond of these vessels, and their pilots, for it is these vessels that carry them into the fray in most deep-space boarding actions. The DX-9 transport's major variants are the DX-9A Troop Carrier, DX-9C Assault Transport, or DX-9E Cargo Hauler. |

Escort Transport

The Beta Class ETR-3 Escort Transport was originally designed to escort Imperial construction vessels when establishing planetary outposts on unpacified worlds. These four engine craft are also heavily armed. The ETR-3 Escort Transport was used in the Empire's TIE Experimental project as mobile remote control ships for the pilotless TIEs. These ships are also used to escort cargo convoys. These craft are also capable of mine laying.

Lambda Shuttle

The Lambda Class Shuttle was designed by Cygnus Spaceworks to transport important personnel from one location to another. It can be used in both vacuum and atmospheric conditions, and has hyperspace capability. The Lambda Shuttle can be heavily shielded, or only lightly armed and armored.
The Lambda-class shuttle was designed to swiftly transport personnel and cargo between ships in the Imperial fleet. Sienar Fleet Systems built the original shuttles to carry up to twenty passengers in relative safety, for the Lambda-class has standard reinforced hull plating and multiple shield generators. The Lambda-class is also fitted with a hyperdrive for travel between fleets. The basic Sienar Lambda-class shuttle measured 20 meters in length, and could be armed with three double blaster cannons and two double laser cannons. It was designed to have a crew compliment of four, with two additional positions for communications and power regulation.
The Lambda Shuttle is not unique to the Imperial navy, but is in use by the Rebels, pirates, and wealthy individuals. |

Delta Class Escort Shuttle

The well-armed Escort Shuttle was designed by Cygnus Spaceworks to transfer the most important cargo, personnel, and diplomats through areas of extreme danger. The rear-mounted laser turret has surprised many enemy craft, and proven extremely deadly.
In addition to its transport role, the Escort Shuttle excels as an escort to the Lambda Shuttle. Able to hold its own in battle, the Escort Shuttle is a favorite among pirates that have managed to get their hands on these craft. |

Sentinel-Class Shuttle

This Sienar Fleet Systems design was derived from the Lambda-class shuttle, retaining the Lambda's triple-wing design.
As with the Lambda, the Sentinel's two lower wings fold during landing. The Sentinel differs from the Lambda in terms of cargo space and weapons. There are eight retractable laser cannons mounted on the hull, two concussion missile launchers, a retractable ion cannon, and a pair of retractable repeating blaster cannons mounted beneath the cockpit. Using a weapons system with retractable mounts means the Sentinel-class shuttle is sleek and aerodynamic when swift transport is needed, but it can hold its own in a fight.
The Sentinel also has enhanced armor plating for defense. The 20-meter-long central section of the Sentinel is widened and elongated to allow for the transport of up to 54 soldiers and six speeder bikes, and drives the length of the craft to 20 meters.
The Sentinel-class was introduced after the Battle of Yavin, but never became widely used in the Imperial fleet. Following the Battle of Endor, SFS allowed Cygnus SpaceWorks to build their own version of the Sentinel, and the craft became available to private, pro-Imperial concerns. In this way, it also found its way into New Republic fleets via front companies. |

YT-1300 Corellian Transport

Assault Transport

The Assault Transport was the brainchild of Telgorn Corporation designer Ilion Teilson, stemming from an Imperial contract. The contract was first open to be filled after the Empire lost an engagement where they were endeavoring to capture a pirate Dreadnaught and was thwarted. The DX-9 Transports that were currently in the imperial inventory just weren't suited for all engagements, and a tougher, more robust craft was called for. The ATR was the result. Telegorn partnered with KonGar Ship Works to produce the ATR, as they had more experience with ship designs that resembled the ATR.
Larger and better armed versions of the stormtrooper transport, the ATR is an elite assault and boarding craft. Heavy armed, the ATR is capable of warding off even the most pesky and determined opposing starfighters as it makes its way to its victim. With heavy shielding and hull strength, it is hard to stop the ATR as it carries out its mission.
The ATR Transport is a powerful weapon for the maintaining of peace and security in the Galaxy. It is employed for capturing, forced boarding operations or destroying enemy ships that oppose the might of the Galactic Empire. These three engine transports are also used to attack heavily defended targets. |

YT-2000 Corellian Transport

The YT-2000 transport was a precursor to the YT-2400 that saw a limited production run, but was a significant improvement over the traditionally used YT-1300. The cockpit is situated in the center of the craft unlike the YT-2000's predecessors, also the cockpit set-up is different. Instead of having the pilot and co-pilot side by side, the pilot is in front while the co-pilot is situated behind and raised above the pilot. There is no room for other persons in the cockpit. Even with all of these changes, this ship still maintains the traditional YT series saucer design. With the cockpit pod in the center of the ship, docking and maneuvering was made easier as opposed to having to gauge distance to the far side of the ship.
Additionally, the ship boasts a double laser turret standard, due to the more dangerous times in which the ship was created. Rumors about that the YT-2000 was originally intended to be the "next generation" model of transports for Corellian Engineering Corporation, however industrial espionage forced them to release the ship before the design was finalized lest that be beaten to the punch by a competitor. It was also rumored that the engineers at CEC had trouble convincing the Imperial Regulatory Commission that the YT-2000 was a civilian ship. YT-2400 Corellian Transport

With thick armor plating and bulky engines, the YT-2400 can easily handle the strain of deep-space combat. The vessel has power to spare and an oversize hull begging for hot-rodded engines and powerful weapons; it’s obvious that when the Corellian Engineering corporation sold this ship as a "stock cargo hauler," it was with a wink and a grin.
The rounded hull area is devoted to cargo holds and ship’s systems. In practice, much of the interior hull space is taken up by modified engines, power generators, weapons systems, and all the other illegal goodies any self-respecting smuggling ship needs. A second escape pod, as well as the air lock, is located on the far side of the cargo compartment, directly opposite the bracing arms.
A pair of heavy Dymek double laser cannons, are dorsal- and ventral- mounted on standard Corellian 1 D servo turrets. They normally are manned but can be controlled via the targeting computer in the cockpit, although accuracy is then significantly reduced. Two forward-firing concussion-missile launchers are mounted on the cockpit tube and have a magazine of three missiles each. |

C-3 Passenger Liner

The C-3 Passanger Liner built by the Leonore Luxury Liner Incorperated, is a common commercial cruise starship. Meassuring over 400 meters long and boasting a crew over 290, the 6 engined Cruise ship is twice a durable as a Nebulon B frigate. The C-3 can easily accomindate up to 1,000 passengers. The Emporer himself used a C-3 liner at times for his personal Transport ship. |
