Corillian Corvette (CRV)
10,000,000 |
The Corellians are known well for their versatile multipurpose starships. The Corellian Corvette is an excellent example and can easy function as either a troop transport, light escort, cargo or passenger carrier. Unlike most highly specialized vessels, the corvette is so easily modified to varying tasks that it is found throughout the galaxy.
As a transport ship, the Corellian Corvette has massive and highly adaptable internal holds capable of carrying anything from loads of grain and water to highly sensitive fuels. To protect this cargo, there are plenty of weapons hardpoints on the hull of the ship allowing it to support a variety of weapons types and configurations. This is one of the reasons why this craft is so popular among the Rebel and Civilian interests anxious to provide defense against unexpected "Imperial Entanglements".The Empire itself often uses a more heavily armed and armored variant of the CR90 as an escort and picket vessel.
As a passenger vessel, quarters can be installed of any comfort level from standard steerage to first-class. Corvettes were widely used as civilian passenger liners and colony ships. They are also easily converted into light combat escorts (like the model depicted above), but their thin armor and shields make a lone civilian Corvette a tempting target for a determined enemy. |

Corellian Gunship (GSP)
11,000,000 |
The Corellian Gunship is one of the few dedicated warships designed and manufactured by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. It is relatively small, but carries a formidable amount of weaponry; this ship could easily win a battle against a vessel twice its size. However, as a result, there is little space on board for cargo or extra equipment, unlike most CEC ships. The most heavily armed of the Corvette class starships. An excellent anti-starfighter platform. |
Scout Craft
12,000,000 |
The Scout Craft is a long range reconnaissance ship, which is commonly used for deep space patrols on the far edge of planetary systems. With 3 turbolasers, and a speed of 80 MGLT, it provides a formidable opponet to starfighters and other small craft it may find while on patrol. It also carries communications equipment required to transmit back to Imperial Communication posts. |
Lancer Frigate (L/FRG)
13,500,000 |
Gun for gun, Lancers are the best anti-starfighter ships currently in service. The main and only armament of this ship is 20 quad high-speed blaster cannon, and each cannon is equipped with a targeting mechanism adapted from the one used in SFS TIE Bomber craft. This produces multi-fire cover with superb fire control. In addition, each gun is mounted on its own tower to provide an increased firing arc. This arrangement spells a quick end for any starfighter foolish enough to come within the Lancer's range.Unfortunately, the Lancer is not fast enough to pursue or even keep pace with most modern fightercraft, and its armor and shielding are far too light to serve in engagements with larger vessels. After the loss of several Lancers to only moderately intense capital ship fire, commanders have grown leery of dedicating the Lancer to any kind of independent assault role. Instead, the Lancer is most often found in a direct escort position flanking larger vessels, where the Lancer's guns can serve to defend against fightercraft while safely beneath its larger partner's wing.

Nebulon-B Frigate (FRG)
14,000,000 |
The Nebulon-B Escort Frigate was originally designed as a convoy escort ship; this vessel's powerful weapons and heavy shields make make any enemy think twice about attacking. The Nebulon-B has sophisticated sensors and deep-space, multifrequency antennas, allowing them to function as long-range scouts or relay battle information to a command ship. It is relatively weak compared to other capital ships. However, few of the older ships outside Star Destroyers can effectively combat this frigate.
The fact that so many have fallen into Rebel hands to the point that they are a common sight in Rebel fleets is a cause for concern. |
Dreadnaught (DREAD)
15,000,000 |
Introduced to the galaxy before the Clone Wars, the Dreadnaught Class Heavy Cruiser was the largest mass-produced vessel of its time. In fact, these are among the oldest ships still seeing active service.
Originally, the Navy had planned to phase out the Dreadnaught. Critics pointed out such flaws as slow speeds, weak shielding, inefficient power generators, low fire power, and high crew needs. Economics has won out for the time being, as the Navy has found it more cost-effective to refit these ships than to build totally new vessels.
Because of their slow speeds, these ships were originally equipped with an enormous amount of cargo space for food and supplies during long missions. As technology improved, faster hyperdrive engines made most of this space unnecessary. Now these areas have been converted into hangar bays. Dreadnaughts typically carry two full squadrons fighters and 4 transports.
The biggest drawback for this class of heavy cruiser is its reliance on manual technology. While the newer vessels have minimal crews supported by a heavy concentration of droids , even the refitted Dreadnaught needs more actual crewmen than any other vessel of its size currently in service.

Modified Frigate (M/FRG)
18,000,000 |
The Nebulon-B II Frigate is a modified version of the original Nebulon B design, designed for a military rather than civilian escort role.
Designers at Kuat Drive Yards decided to brace two arm sections to the main fuselage, in an inverted V shape, as well as modifying the power plants and drive system for grater speed and an improved hyperdrive. The extra arm added to the vessel allowed for a great deal more firepower, not to mention the capacity for extra cargo and troops.
The Nebulon- B II frigate was an immediate success and the Navy has embraced the design wholeheartedly. The "Modified frigate" is built for straight assault missions and cruiser escort; with its added firepower and increased shielding, it more than lives up to expectations. The "Modified Frigate" also carries a slightly larger number of starfighters |

Interdictor Cruiser (INT)
19,000,000 |
Using gravity well technology, Sienar Fleet Systems has created the Interdictor Cruiser whose primary purpose is to set up an artificial gravity well or "mass shadow" in battle zones and high security areas. The gravity well serves two purposes.
First, it appears as a large gravitational body to any hyperdrive system. This prevents a ship from jumping into the vicinity of the gravity well. The Interdictor Cruiser is designed to be placed near engagement areas or areas of potential conflict. It will stay outside the battle zones and set up the gravity well as required by circumstances.
Second, any ships already in the hyperspace that pass within the gravity well's field will be drawn immediately into realspace. Thus, the Interdictor Cruiser can help set up ambush zones by locating in known hyperspace corridors, forcing Rebel, pirate or smuggler craft to reenter realspace where our battle fleets can engage them.

Assault Frigate (A/FRG)
20,000,000 |
A mainstay of the Rebel fleet, the Alliance's "Assault Frigates" are modified versions of Rendili's Dreadnaught. All such ships have been altered so that the required crew and necessary maintenance is substantially reduced. Much of the internal structure is exposed to space, and fin-mounted engines provide added maneuverability.
A revised version of Rendili's Dreadnaught-class starship, the assault frigate was stripped of its outer shell to increase engine capacity and fuel efficiency. Two dorsal solar fins were also added, increasing maneuverability and energy production. There were no docking bays on an assault frigate, but there were 20 retractable docking tubes that could be extended from the ship's holds. The assault frigate was also equipped with a great deal of droid and computer-automated systems. Thus, crew requirements for the assault frigate are just 5,000 beings, down from the 16,000 required on the original Dreadnaught. |

Victory-Class Star Destroyer (VSD)
20,000,000 |
Victory Class Star Destroyers did not come off the production line until after the Clone Wars had ended, and consequently only a handful ever saw action prior to the onset of the Galactic Civil War. Yet Rendili StarDrive's Victory Class Star Destroyer has made an impact in this age of Imperator and Super Class Star Destroyers. This Version, the Victory II Class Star DEstroyer, was designed for Space Combat.
The Victory II is fitted with powerful Hoersch-Kessel engines that add significantly to the Destroyer's sublight speed and maneuverability. In addition to its normal armament, the Victory II is equipped with eighty concussion missile launchers grouped in racks of four; these weapons add significantly to the cruiser's offensive punch and make it absolutely deadly to starfighters and lighter ships which may be nimble enough to evade heavy cannon.
Victory II Star Destroyers are designed with hangar bays large enough for two squadrons of TIE fighters and all purpose transports. The main duty of the Victory II Star Destroyer is sector patrol, although they also function admirably in a fleet support role. |

Nova-Class Battle Cruiser
25,000,000 |
Developed by the Hapans, these long, fast ships have immense firepower designed to help them supplement Hapan Battle Dragons. The Nova-class meaures 400 meters in length, resembling a two-pronged claw with a viper-like bridge, and are armed with twenty-five turbolasers, ten laser cannons, and ten ion cannons.
They are normally equipped with two squadrons of Miy'til fighters and six Hetrinar assault bombers. The design of the Nova-class cruiser was a Hapan Consortium production, and was less than a decade old when Prince Isolder sought Leia Organa's hand in marriage. The ship's engines are designed to run a full year without refueling. The cruiser can transport up to 600 troops, with a crew of 1,700 and 90 gunners. |
Carrack Cruiser (CRKC)
27,000,000 |
An old yet reliable ship in the Imperial fleet is the Damorian Manufacturing Corporation's Carrack Class Cruiser. This vessel's 10 Heavy Turbolaser Batteries allow the Carrack to engage larger opponent with a reasonable chance of success. Backing up the heavy guns are a number of smaller laser cannons for point defense against starfighters and missiles. Refitted vessels have also been equipped with tractor beam projectors.
Layered bulkheads and compartmentalization, combined with a unique modular life support system, assures maximum crew survival in case of hull breachings. On numerous occasions, Imperial salvage craft have retrieved Carrack debris and found live crew members on board. These bulkheads also lend strength to the hull, allowing a Carrack to survive an attack that would destroy a similarly sized vessel.
Compartmentalization does have one major drawback, though. Such a defense system takes up an inordinate amount of space. As a result, the Carrack Class is one of the largest cruisers not equipped with internal hangar bays. To compensate for the lack of starfighter support, Carrack cruisers are equipped with powerful engines that make them among the fastest of the Rebellion's capital ships.
Current doctrine teams these cruisers with smaller vessels and assigns them to patrol duty in pacified or semi-pacified sectors.

Dauntless-Class Cruiser
30,000,000 |
This was the second-largest battleship in the Alliance fleet during the Galactic Civil War. The Dauntless-class was developed from a series of luxury liners, which were beefed up with formidable armaments and heavy plating and shielding.
The result was a sleek, battle-ready platform which served on the front line of many space battles. A sate-of-the-art warship, it proved invaluable where deployed. |
Imperator-class Star Destroyer (ISD)
30,000,000 |
This Imperial Star Destroyer was designed by Lira Wessex, daughter of the man who designed the Victory Class Star Destroyer. Although the VSD was powerful, the ISD was one of the Empires Finest acheivements and became the symbol of their starfleet. An ISD consumes more energy in a single Hyperspace jump than most civilizations produce throughout their histories; its weapon batteries are capable of reducing the crust of a planet to an ocean of molten slag. In addition to its onboard weaponry, an ISD carries a full complement of AT-AT and AT-ST walkers along with assault craft, an entire division of Imperial Stormtroopers, and a full wing of 72 TIE fighters. |
Liberator Cruiser
30,000,000 |
Designed and built by SoroSuub, this small capital ship was often underestimated by its enemies. The sleek, V-shaped design was compact, yet heavily armed with ion cannons and heavy turbolaser batteries. The interior of the Liberator was large enough to transport three full regiments of troops and six starfighter squadrons, making the Liberator one of the most
advanced warships produced during the height of the New Order.
The SoroSuub Liberator's slender hull disguises the fact that it can carry a large sum of troops as well as six full squadrons of starfighters.
For a capital ship, the Liberator is diminutive of size, but still finds room to host a formidable weapons complement consisting of ion cannons and heavy turbolaser batteries.
Utilizing state- of-the-art hull armor, new shielding and drive unit technology, the Liberator is one of the most advanced warships in the galaxy. The Liberator itself came to be a very versatile design and SoroSuub later fielded the Liberator missile frigate which was based off of the same hull as the original carrier- cruiser was. However, to reduce construction and maintenance costs in the missile frigate version, SoroSuub downgraded the shields and removed several of the weapon emplacements. |
Strike Cruiser (STRKC)
30,000,000 |
Loronar Industries's Strike Cruiser has been called the fleet's best kept secret. While every smuggler knows to avoid Star Destroyers and Calamari Cruisers, the fighting capacity of a strike cruiser comes as quite a surprise to many.
Loronar Industries has designed a vessel that can be mass produced in a limited amount of time, due to the prefabricated nature of its component sections. Not only does this procedure reduce construction time, it also dramatically lowers the cost of each vessel. Combat Engineers have pointed out flaws in the Modular design though, which could cause the ship to break aprt prematurely in combat when hit with ordinance in these areas, this is however, considered a small possibly flaw in the generally durable craft.
Each strike cruiser can carry a company of troops for ground assault missions. It's small but functional hangar bay houses one squadron of fighters.
Because of its modular design, a strike cruiser can be easily modified for specific missions. Some of those specialized vessels currently in service include prefab garrison deployers, troop transports, starfighter launch platforms, heavy vehicle recovery, electronic warfare, and ground assault vessels. |

Bulwark Battlecruiser
35,000,000 |
The largest starship in the New Republic navy, the Bulwark Battlecruiser is ideal for large scale operations. Designed and manufactured by TransGalMeg, this older battleship found acceptance in the Alliance fleet during the Galactic Civil War.
Many felt that the ship's electronics and sensors were too finicky for regular combat, but the Alliance found that the Bulwark was more than adequately armed and shielded for battle. Most Alliance Bulwark battlecruisers served as mobile command bases for smaller fleets, which were detached from their primary battle group. |
Winged Calamari Cruiser (CRS - type 2)
45,000,000 |
It was not until the entry of the Mon Calamari into the Rebellion that the Rebel forces gained capital starships with which to combat the Star Destroyers. The huge battle cruisers of the Mon Calamari are modified versions of the deep-space exploration vessels their builders have for decades. Before they became war ships, they were used by the Mon Calamari to increase their understanding of the universe around them. Each Mon Calamari Cruiser carries two X-wings, three Y-wings, and one A-wing.
Heavily armored and full of firepower, the Mon Calamari Cruiser is a force against the Empire. It is the flagship for the Rebel Alliance and is commanded by Admiral Ackbar. |
MC-85
70,000,000 |
Ackbar's original Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, the Home One served as the command ship for the Alliance during the Battle of Endor. At that time, it was the largest ship in the Alliance's fleet. As newer and better Mon Calamari starships were designed, Ackbar eventually retired Home One in favor of the Defiance and the Galactic Voyager.
Though over twice the size of any other exisiting Mon Calamari cruiser at that time, the Home One was not superior in weaponry. Mainly, the Home One's advantage was simply size: the ability to serve as a command ship overseeing the battle and survive. The Home One housed ten starfighter squadrons. |

Executor-class Star Destroyer (SSD)
75,000,000 |
Super Star Destroyers represent the Emperor's unlimited power and resources; while the Imperial Star Destroyers could frighten worlds into submission, the Executor class terrorized them beyond the capacity for resistance, conquering whole systems without firing a shot. The Executor-class of command ships can coordinate the activites of an entire sector fleet, and serve as a mobile command center, assault platform, or even a miniature shipyard. Its weaponry , armor and shielding are staggering; the Executor-class was designed to be able to engage entire fleets singlehandedly and emerge victorious. With over two thousand weapon emplacements, an entire corps of Stormtroopers, four divisions of regular Army troops, hundreds of AT-AT and AT-ST Walkers, three prefabricated garrison bases, two wings of fighters and dozens of assault craft, the Executor-class has few equals in all of known space............' |
